I am thinking of buying a truck to drive in the winter. I live in the Midwest and the winters are very brutal. My little car is always getting stuck and I was late for work about ten times last winter because of it. The only thing that is really holding be back is that I have not gotten the car insurance quote back from my company yet to let me know what I can expect to pay to insure the truck.

I told my boss that I was thinking of buying the truck and of course he thinks that it is a great idea but when I told him that I still needed to hear back from my insurance company he told me that I should switch companies. He said that they should value me as an existing customer and should return my phone call quicker than that.

I figured that he was right and found some car insurance companies online that sent me quotes for the truck and my car within minutes of requesting them. I was shocked at how quick these car insurance companies were and decided to go with the one with the lowest rate. I guess that I am getting a new winter truck after all. Now, I need to call and let my other car insurance company that I am dropping them and why.
