While out shopping for a new home my husband and I were getting very discouraged with what our realtor was showing us. Most of the homes were in need of replacement windows among other things. I understood that in the price range we were looking in, we were not going to get a brand new house but some decent vinyl windows would be nice.

If I had to deal with old carpet and ugly kitchen cabinets then I was not budging on the vinyl windows. Our realtor had shown us five houses in one day and she knew that I was not impressed but told me she would keep looking until we found the one. I drove by a house that was very close to my parents home, that was for sale but of course it needed window replacement also.

I called our realtor to have her show it to us, it was in our price range and everything had been updated except the windows. I asked her if we could ask the homeowner to pay for the new vinyl windows and she said that we could try it since she knew the homeowner was very motivated. The homeowner agreed and we bought the house of our dreams.
