Glow Sticks were Free with Order

My daughter’s art teacher asked me if our locally owned craft store sold glowing face paint. I had worked there for two years and had never seen it, but told her that I would look into it for her. I asked my manager if we had it, and he told me that we had never carried it, but could specially order it if someone wanted it.

I sent a note to the art teacher with my daughter, the next day letting her know that we could order it if she needed it. She came into the store about two days later and asked for us to order two colors of the glowing face paint for her to use at the fun fair that was scheduled to take place in about three weeks. The two colors that she ordered were the school colors; I guess that the teachers were planning on putting on a little skit using them.

When I placed the order with the company for the paint, they told me that this order would qualify for free glow sticks. I asked them how many we would receive and he said that we would get fifty for each color of paint we ordered. I thought that the school could use the glow sticks in the redemption center that the kids get to visit after playing the games and earning tokens.

The teacher’s skit was great and I saw lots of kids walking around with their glow sticks. The PTO president was thrilled to find out that they were free.
