“Accidents at work - Not your fault?”
Equipment malfunction is very dangerous, especially if the injury is not notified. You have every right to claim for compensation if this injury wasn’t your fault. Also, it brings the point across to supervisors etc. and this injury could be an example set to others.
Some work places are considered dangerous anyway. Construction injuries, for example, are very common but if the injury was not down to your own personal fault, then you can claim for compensation. Maybe a piece of equipment was defective. If you do not do something about the situation, other people could suffer the same in juries as you. You should make a stand to ensure that these things do not happen to others.
Another thing you should think about is the loss of earnings you may experience due to an injury that was not your fault. If you do have the misfortune of losing money due to an injury, speak to attorneys to see what sort of money you can claim for to make up for the struggles you have had to deal with.
Whatever happens, it is not fair to have to deal with your injury and loss of money by yourself, defective products are not your fault, and you shouldn’t have to lose out for the sake of somebody not checking these products and equipment properly!
