Better maintenance of electric fences will defiantly yields better profits. Not just laying a perfect fence the maintenance of those fences is also necessary. And for maintenance of these fences a constant check of voltage in the fence is to be observed daily. And fluctuations in the voltages need to be calculated. And measures need to be taken to decreasing these fluctuations. The polyrope which is used for the conduction line in many electric fences wears and tears with the climatic changes. The changes in the voltage also cause damage to the polyrope. It may also sustain physical damages through animals on rampage.
Though, avoiding these damages isn’t possible but care should be taken that the electric fence tape works perfectly even after sustaining damages. The polyposts which are used as insulators for a fence can also be damaged by natural means. So, a constant observation is needed so as to replace the damages polyposts with the new ones. And for battery energisers the amount of voltage should be checked constantly and incase the battery voltage is less it should be recharged immediately. Having a spare fully charged battery gives an additional security and allows quick replacement of battery. And for mains energisers current supply should be continuous and if there is a problem with the current flow or any power cut then the mains should be backed up sufficiently. All in all an electric fencing is a lot better than other means of fencing as it creates a psychological barrier they never try to pass them even during no power supply.
