Self Defense - Fighting Spam Mails
A tremendous growth in field of communication technology has been seen in past few decades, and email system has been one of the most successful services, reason being the speed and the portability of accessing the system. But as said ‘devil’s workshop never stops’, some malicious person gave this sparkling technology a blot, called Spam.
The biggest threat to an exchange server is a spam. But you need not to take any stress for this because you can avoid spam mails successfully by following some simple guidelines and instructions.
Spam can be efficiently dealt by simply using a spamfilter exchange server. A spamfilter exchange scans all incoming messages, if a mail is found to be spam it is just deleted, thus not allowing the spam message to reach the email exchange. Also one must avoid using exchange email id for signing up purpose on other websites or some online advertisement campaign, as they can be the sources of spam mails.
Alternatively junkmail exchange server may be setup, where all the mail suspected to be junk, spam or bulk and be redirected. In this methodology the mails do not get deleted automatically, but are to be deleted by the users manually. Here if an important mail is flagged as spam and redirected to junkmail are recovered by the user.
So, no need to be afraid from spam next time. Just remember to follow the precautionary measures and you are now Spam Protected.
